Upon joining school, students settle into a busy yet rewarding schedule. From academics to sports to co-curricular, life in a residential school keeps one busy. In this backdrop, our residences offer a warm, comforting retreat, and serve as a second home to our students. MPS has four boys’ houses, two girls’ houses and one holding house.
Often residences become personal spaces which students connect with deeply. Friendships forged in residences often last a lifetime and truly these spaces prepare students to become responsible and self-reliant. A professional and experienced team of Housemasters, Assistant Housemasters, House parents and Tutors supervises students within the residences.
The tutor (Guru) and tutees (Shishya) eat meals together, hold regular meetings and embark on adventure expeditions together! Indeed, the tutor is in the role of a foster parent, looking after the overall well- being of students under his/her care.
